I grew up in Kern County, California, a very conservative area.

 

I spent my 30-year law enforcement career working for the Kern County
Sheriff’s Office – and during this time, I witnessed firsthand the
Democrats in the California legislature implement radical, woke
policies that have destroyed the California I once knew.

 

California is now home to “progressive” ideologies that foster an
environment that EMBOLDENS CRIMINALS, IS HIGH IN CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES,
AND LEAVES VICTIMS WITHOUT CLOSURE.

 

That’s why I fled to Texas – to protect my family.

 

But I wasn’t the only one who fled.

 

_Countless Democrats also fled to Texas to avoid the very policies
they championed that destroyed the Golden State._

 

NOW, THEY’RE TRYING TO MAKE TEXAS, CALIFORNIA 2.0.

 

But we’ve seen where that will lead us...

 

…towards a lawless, expensive, yet oppressive state that is
undeniably un-American – and certainly doesn’t suit the freedom we
currently enjoy in Texas.

 

_That’s why I tossed my name in the ring last year, to defeat the
sitting Democrat in TX-35._

 

In 2024, we got halfway there, and I won the Republican primary.
