JOHN,
When I ran for school board in 2020, the cost of groceries was already high. Families struggled to afford basic necessities but, unfortunately, prices have only risen since then.
With Thanksgiving coming up, I wanted to check in with you about grocery prices in your community.
Have you seen the cost of groceries rise in Philadelphia?
When Donald Trump ran for office, he promised that working families wouldn’t feel the effects of tariffs. He lied.
Trump’s cruel trade war did what it was intended to do. Boost the profits of greedy corporations at the expense of working families like mine. Republicans like Ashley Moody have had the opportunity to push back against his tariffs, but she has sided with Trump, NOT working Floridians.
When I get to the U.S. Senate, I promise to do whatever it takes to lower costs for all families.
Because every family deserves to gather and enjoy Thanksgiving without spending an arm and a leg.
And every family should be able to afford basic necessities like groceries.
Please, take my campaign’s quick poll and let me know if you’ve seen the cost of groceries rise in Philadelphia >>
With you,
Jennifer Jenkins
