During the early morning hours of July 15, a brick was thrown through the front window of the East San Gabriel Valley Republican Center in Covina, CA. Thankfully, nobody was injured during this criminal act of vandalism. Covina Police Department promptly arrived on scene and
is currently investigating security footage.
The Center is a non-profit office that serves as a venue for political education, volunteering, and as an office for the Joshua Scott for Congress campaign. The Center is not affiliated with any political party.
Joshua Scott, the Republican nominee for California's 32nd congressional district said the following regarding the vandalism:
"The only surprise that comes out of this despicable criminal act of vandalism is the fact that it did not happen sooner. Over the past two months, we have seen many left-wing officials in Los Angeles and beyond remain completely silent on the violent destruction of countless local businesses and places of worship, while citing these events as peaceful protests. The unhindered destruction of our cities, compounded by the spewing
of anti-police rhetoric from our elected officials and media, has emboldened the radical, anti-American, left-wing mob to continue its atrocities. Though unfortunate and disheartening, our campaign will never stop fighting for American freedom, liberty, and equality for all. We will continue to project unapologetic patriotism, stand up for what is right, support our brave police officers, and flip this beautiful district in the East San Gabriel Valley."
