Donald Trump has been on another social media rampage — with very real, very dangerous consequences.

In between posts about his favorite MAGA members of Congress, his football takes, and deranged AI-generated art — including the one below featuring me:

Trump is once again projecting himself as King, and threatening his political enemies, with “justice” — another reference to his many abuses of the Justice Department.

In fact, Donald Trump has been expanding his threats against Democratic members of Congress, including those speaking out against Trump’s abuses of power in the Department of Defense.

He's threatening veterans like my colleagues Mark Kelly and Elissa Slotkin, accusing them of sedition and reposting calls for them to be hanged.

Now, Pete Hegseth is drawing up a bogus investigation into Mark Kelly — adopting one of Trump’s favorite tactics to smear his rivals.

These attacks have dangerous implications for our country and our democracy. Threatening members of Congress who don’t agree with you is egregious in and of itself and is directly pulled from the authoritarian playbook. Attacking veterans, brave men and women who served our country and fought for our freedoms, is downright deplorable and dangerous.

While Trump’s posts get more outrageous and damaging, we need to keep up the fight to hold him accountable to the rule of law. We need to stand up to these threats and support the brave veterans who serve in Congress.

And we need to do whatever the hell we can to put some checks on Trump’s power. Chip in to help me fight back against these threats from the president.
