Earlier this month, Live Action released the first in our series of new prenatal development education projects: “Beyond Ultrasound.”

As the title suggests, this beautifully rendered, medically accurate, digital animation goes beyond what is visible on an ultrasound. It depicts the formation of major internal organ systems in a preborn baby at three key points during the first two trimesters of pregnancy — the window in which the overwhelming majority of abortions occur.

You and I already know the truth about the humanity of preborn children. We know that, from the moment of fertilization, these are unique human beings with the God-given right to life, deserving of our love and protection.

We know that, even during the earliest weeks of gestation, they are not mere “clumps of cells” but complex, perfectly designed — albeit very small — people. But not everyone does.

The abortion industry depends on keeping society ignorant because when people know the truth about life in the womb and what abortion does to a preborn baby, their minds can be changed.

As a father myself, I can tell you that one of the most impactful experiences I’ve ever had was getting to see each one of my precious kids on an ultrasound for the first time.

With “Beyond Ultrasound,” we’re going a step further by providing a window into the intricate realities of fetal development that even an ultrasound can’t show, making this powerful imagery accessible to more than just expectant moms and dads.

This video can serve as an eye-opening tool for people of all ages and backgrounds from children and teens, to pro-life advocates and pregnancy counselors, to middle-of-the-road people who are not yet ready to directly confront the evils of abortion but whose hearts can be moved to recognize the humanity of a preborn baby.
