It's Mike Espy — the son. Were you fooled?

No matter the reason, I'm glad you opened up my email, because now you get a chance to read me bragging on my dad, Mike Espy, a little. He has been working non-stop to become our next U.S. Senator in Mississippi, and I can personally vouch that he’s operating on another level.

My dad has been doing virtual listening tours, interviews, and last weekend he was on our Volunteer Launch call helping volunteers learn how to text. He went right from the gym to join the call. That's dedication!

But that's who my dad is when he has his sights set on something.

He has always told me that dreams don’t come from magic, but from sweat, determination, and hard work. Those words helped push me to be a top college prospect, a professional football player, and now I get to instill that into some of our state’s top athletes as I help them train throughout the year.

A leader with determination is what Mississippi needs right now. COVID-19 completely changed how we are running this campaign, yet my dad has stepped up to the challenge and figured out how to still engage with folks and show them he will be the best senator Missississippi has ever seen.
