We achieved a monumental victory with a vote of 427-1 in favor of the Khanna Epstein Transparency Act
Last week, we achieved a monumental victory with a vote of 427-1 in favor of the Khanna Epstein Transparency Act. Isaac Dovere called it “the biggest defeat of Trump’s second term.” And Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene described it having "ripped MAGA apart."
But this vote is more than just a political victory; it's about standing up to the Epstein Class. It’s about tackling corruption head-on. And it’s about advocating for the communities that have been left behind. Together, we are advocating for a new economic patriotism that rebuilds American industry and empowers our workers.
Before I explain, will you rush a split $20 donation to my campaign and Katie Porter to help me continue to stand up to corruption and to hold Trump accountable?
Here’s the backstory on how I helped engineer the vote that ‘ripped MAGA apart.’
Up to 40 MAGA Republicans were ready to support my Khanna Epstein Transparency Act, even though Donald Trump publicly told them not to. Some were prepared to lose his endorsement over it. Then Trump folded.
This didn’t happen by accident.
It happened because I’ve spent months:
- going on MAGA-aligned podcasts
- holding town halls in deep-red districts
- building personal relationships with Rep. Massie and even MTG
- treating MAGA voters with respect — not mockery
- making the case for transparency and economic patriotism
Washington didn’t believe this strategy would work. But it’s working.
For the first time since Trump came down his golden escalator and announced his candidacy for President, we saw a major breach in the MAGA coalition. And if we can break Trump’s coalition on transparency, we can break it on other issues too and build a broad, durable, cross-partisan governing majority.
But I need your help to keep showing up where Democrats never go.
Will you chip in $10, $25, or whatever you can to help me continue to stand up to corruption and to hold Trump accountable?
