Jack - It's time to celebrate everything we accomplished in 2026! |
Jack, Looking back at 2025, it's astonishing how much things have changed. It's no secret that it's been a challenging year. We've had major fights across our movements at the local, state, and federal levels, and it feels like the stakes have never been higher in the fight for public goods.
But here at PPT, we count ourselves lucky to have had some major wins and accomplishments this year. (How about protecting transit at the Waterfront for over 2,500 riders a week? Or working with the City of Pittsburgh to turn its first-ever budget allocation for transit amenities into real, live bus shelters where the people need them? Or the stunning 350 people we schlepped out to Harrisburg to fight for transit funding?)
We've been working hard this year, and it's time to celebrate together. We're heading into a December with lots of events, actions, and our year-end member drive—but we always find that organizing work is sweeter when we take time to rest, reflect, and (most importantly) have LOTS of fun together! That's why we're hosting our annual year-end Transit Justice victory party on Friday, December 12th, and we would absolutely love to see you there.
We'll be hanging out at Hosanna House in Wilkinsburg from 6-9 PM, and we've got a full schedule of food, dance, campaign updates, and easy (but important) voting on our 2026 Strategic Plan. But the most important thing is that we all get a chance to have fun with the people we're building a better world with! We'd absolutely love to see you there, Jack. Can you RSVP to join us? |
You can find more information about accessibility, food, and more at our RSVP link. As always, our party tickets are sliding scale, with no one turned away for lack of funds. This year, folks who support our party with a donation of $30 or more will receive a FREE PPT-branded golden beanie! |
Image Description: Black text reads "New PPT beanies at the party!" To the right is a mockup of a gold knit beanie embroidered with the black PPT logo. The image is decorated with a red starburst behind. |
This is a limited-time deal for folks who pre-register for our party, so don't miss out! |

P.S. -- our party is a community event, and we rely on volunteers to make it work! Can you sign up for a volunteer shift? Let us know when you book your ticket. We've got lots of different roles available, and don't worry--you'll still get to dance and eat a yummy dinner! |
