Our first AMA report-back.

Y’all, I’m proud to be running a campaign powered by the people.

What we’re building here in Texas is incredible – and it’s a true reflection of the priorities, hopes, and dreams of the hardworking folks who make our state so great.

A bit ago, I put out a call for questions for our campaign’s first AMA (“Ask Me Anything”) series. Thousands of you responded, and today, I’m excited to share a few of my answers with you!

First up, we have a couple of questions from Sharon in Colleyville and Gabe in Houston: What would be your plan to try to unite the country together when it is so severely divided? What issues do you feel you could work and compromise with Republicans on to get things done?

Next, Welda in Spring asked me something that I know a lot of people often wonder: Why is it so expensive to run for public office?

Finally, Harry in Littleton gave it to me straight with a simple question: Will you represent your constituency, not corporate interests?

I’m proud to be running a campaign that is rooted in community.

Whether I’m able to talk to you in person during our dozens of town halls, at restaurants or worksites around the state where I’m picking up shifts, or connect with you online like this, I always want to make sure you know exactly who I am – and that I’m fighting for you and your family just as I would my own.

If you’d like to be one of thousands of hardworking folks helping to fuel this people-powered campaign, please chip in what you can to keep me on the road meeting voters and doing the things we need to win this race.

DONATE

Thank you,

Colin
