No one has lost their Social Security, Medicare, or veterans’ benefits in spite of constant media and leftist lies. Ukraine’s Other Enemy I have been warning how corruption in Ukraine will bedevil efforts to defeat Russia from the very beginning. Finally, Big Media is catching on. The Washington Post featured a front-page story on a growing scandal involving key government officials close to Zelensky that has shocked Ukrainians and international observers. Consider these excerpts: “The corruption scandal has fueled rage that the country’s ruling elite may have lined their own pockets as they sent troops to die in the name of democracy and Western values. . .” “. . . a major kickback scheme siphoned money from the crucial energy and defense sectors this month as weather turned cold and Ukrainians . . . are either fighting on a brutal front line or living in near-total darkness because of relentless attacks on the energy grid. “The scandal has cast a palpable sense of gloom over the country as many people go half the day or more without electricity, then sleep in train stations and basements to take cover from Russian bombs at night.” These quotes are from the Washington Post, which has been cheering this war without end. From day one, we have joined many others in urging caution about sending vast amounts of money to Ukraine given the historic level of corruption that has always bedeviled the country. Why was the Biden family so interested in Ukraine? Because it has been “graft central” not only for Ukrainian oligarchs but also for American oligarchs. We’re facing a major energy shortage in the United States, yet we have sent billions and billions of dollars to build Ukraine’s energy infrastructure faster than Russia can take it out. President Trump is making another attempt at peace, and, of course, the “war without end” crowd is attacking him again. I pray he succeeds. Democrat Dividers Six congressional Democrats are feeling the heat for their video urging members of the military to reject illegal orders from President Trump. Of course, President Trump is generating much of that heat himself. In a Truth Social post over the weekend, the president wrote in all caps: “THE TRAITORS THAT TOLD THE MILITARY TO DISOBEY MY ORDERS SHOULD BE IN JAIL RIGHT NOW, NOT ROAMING THE FAKE NEWS NETWORKS TRYING TO EXPLAIN THAT WHAT THEY SAID WAS OK. IT WASN’T, AND NEVER WILL BE! IT WAS SEDITION AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL, AND SEDITION IS A MAJOR CRIME.” Senator Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) was asked directly yesterday on ABC’s “This Week” if President Trump had issued any illegal orders. Slotkin replied, “To my knowledge, I am not aware of things that are illegal.” Other congressmen in the video have also failed to identify any “illegal orders” issued by President Trump. They just threw it out there without evidence like every other baseless smear. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent blasted the Democrats’ video as “a display of gross, gross negligence,” adding, “There is one commander in chief, and when you step outside of the chain of command and try to create the noise and chaos, that only helps our enemies.” He is absolutely right. These House and Senate partisans are stoking division and fueling mistrust of our government, which is the goal of our enemies. (Here and here.) This was not just stupidity. It was a dangerous action to take, reminiscent of events in the 1850s leading to civil war. There is no decent or acceptable explanation for it. These insurrectionists put their message up on social media platforms, the very platforms that young men and women in the military and all young men and women go to regularly. That was the audience. Do they not understand that in our constitutional Republic, it is the Supreme Court that would decide whether an order issued to the military is constitutional or not? These irresponsible bomb throwers essentially urged our brave men and women in the military to each make that call themselves. They are advocating breaking the chain-of-command that our military functions on at the very moment we are facing several threats to our country around the world. It is very possible that members of our military could die because of this irresponsible action. It’s all the more shocking when you consider that the participants in the video are presented by the media as being in the “mainstream” of the Democrat Party. There must be some sort of accountability for what these individuals did. The Pentagon announced today that one of them, Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ), a retired Navy captain, is under investigation for violating laws against undermining “the loyalty, morale, or discipline of U.S. forces.” Kelly could be recalled to active duty and court-martialed. Trump Tackles Obamacare President Trump is expected to announce a proposal to address the skyrocketing cost of Obamacare premiums. Emergency subsidies passed by the Democrats during the COVID pandemic are expiring at the end of the year. Without those emergency subsidies, Obamacare premiums are expected to double, proving that Obamacare never was affordable. White House officials briefed GOP congressional leaders over the weekend on a plan that would extend the subsidies for two years while imposing income-based eligibility limits and new measures to combat fraud in the program. Travesty Of Justice A Clinton-appointed federal judge dismissed the charges against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James today. This liberal judge claims that Acting U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan, who filed the charges, was not constitutionally appointed. The Justice Department is expected to appeal the decision. Muslim Brotherhood Banned It is being reported that the Trump administration will officially declare the Muslim Brotherhood to be a terrorist organization. President Trump told a conservative media outlet, “It will be done in the strongest and most powerful terms. Final documents are being drawn.” Many of us have been urging this for years.
