Friend,
I was talking to someone the other day, and after about thirty minutes
of talking, she asked me my favorite question.
“WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP?”
I like this question because people are often surprised at how easy it
is to make a big impact on a race like mine.
They’re surprised to hear that sometimes the best thing someone can
do isn’t to spend 12 hours phone banking or volunteer for the day.
ALTHOUGH I’D NEVER SAY NO TO ANOTHER SET OF HANDS ON THE CAMPAIGN,
SOMETIMES THE BEST THING SOMEONE CAN DO IS JUST MOVE THEIR HAND, REACH
INTO THEIR POCKET, AND FIND A FEW DOLLARS TO SPARE FOR MY CAMPAIGN.
Campaigns cost money, resources cost money, and when you’re someone
like me, trying to stand up to the establishment, there aren’t many
donors with deep pockets willing to stand up to the political elites.
