No U.S. President has ever publicly called for members of the opposite political party to be killed. 

But President Donald Trump has now done exactly that.

After some of my fellow Democrats who served in uniform exercised their free speech reminding members of the military that they can—and should—only follow lawful orders, Trump posted that they committed "SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR" and suggested that their comments are "punishable by DEATH."

And now those brave Democrats, who deeply love their country, are being threatened:

Rep. Chris Deluzio, Sen. Elissa Slotkin, Rep. Chrissy Houlahan, and my New Hampshire colleague Rep. Maggie Goodlander—all Democrats who served our country in uniform—were targeted by bomb threats Friday.

After I spoke up in defense of what they said, violent right wing trolls came out of the woodwork attacking me, calling me a traitor, and worse:

MAGA must be stopped. This is our chance to do it. I need your help to stand against MAGA extremism and stand up for the Constitution.

We can send our own message that no matter what the likes of Stephen Miller or Steve Bannon do, we will never back down from this fight.
