The 2025 WA Grant Campaign study was commissioned by the Washington Student Achievement Council, and conducted by Sandbox Inc. and Ipsos. It evaluated the campaign’s effectiveness in improving awareness, understanding, and motivation to apply for financial aid, while exploring views and behaviors regarding the intention to pursue college or career training.
To do so, the study includes a survey of students, parents of students, and adult learners, in both English and Spanish speaking communities, and their awareness and motivations to pursue college and use financial aid, as well as their reactions to the 2025 marketing campaign. These findings are to be used for both assessing the impact of the campaign and identify new avenues to help students and families utilize the state’s financial aid to complete postsecondary education through a variety of pathways. The key findings summarize the results of these surveys, while the entirety of results may be found in the full report.
