Democrats delivered victories across the country a few weeks ago -- and made history while doing it.
From New Jersey to Virginia, California to Pennsylvania, from New York to Georgia to Mississippi -- Democrats won at every level: federal, state, and local. Turnout beat expectations, and voters made it clear they’re ready to keep moving our country forward.
Last month, I was proud to join New Jersey and Virginia Democrats on the campaign trail to remind folks what was at stake. And it paid off -- Abigail Spanberger flipped the Virginia governor’s seat blue by 16 points, becoming the first woman ever to lead the commonwealth. Every single county in Virginia shifted blue. Democrats also flipped 13 seats in the House of Delegates and expanded their majority to its largest since 1987.
- In New Jersey, Mikie Sherrill won a landslide victory over a Trump-endorsed candidate -- proving that when we organize, we win.
- In California, voters passed Prop 50, protecting fair representation and pushing back against Republican gerrymandering.
- In New York City, more people voted in this year’s election than they have in 50 years.
- In Pennsylvania, Democrats defended three Supreme Court seats.
- In Mississippi, voters broke the GOP’s State Senate supermajority.
- In Georgia Democrats achieved historic victories.
And in Georgia, Democrats flipped both Public Service Commissioner races for the first time in 20 years.
These victories send a powerful message: Voters are rejecting the GOP’s destructive, unpopular, and unaffordable MAGA agenda.
But John, our work is just beginning. The U.S. House Majority is within our reach in 2026 -- and we can’t afford to let up now.
If you’re ready to keep our momentum going and continue this winning streak into 2026, chip in today to help Democrats flip the House and defend our progress, John: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/jce251124am
Thank you for all of your hard work,
