We told you last week about a dire situation with the U.S. Postal Service: their aging fleet of mail trucks are catching on fire.
Well, House Democrats have a solution: electric vehicles.
Earlier this month, House Democrats passed the Moving Forward Act, which provides $6 billion for a modernized mail fleet. At least 75 percent of this fleet must be electric vehicles.
Now, however, the bill goes to the Senate, where Mitch McConell, not exactly an environmentalist, will undoubtedly try to take it down.
The USPS deserves a modern fleet, but Mitch and the GOP stand in the way. Will you demand Congress takes action? Let us know:
