As we enter the week of Thanksgiving, all of us at Freedom of the Press Foundation (FPF) are reflecting on what it means to be a part of the fight to protect the truth in a time when journalists and their sources face growing risks.

I’m thankful that our team is bigger than ever and able to respond to the deluge of requests for support from journalists across the country. Whether it’s helping to defend targeted reporters or building the open source security tools that help newsrooms stay safe, we are fortifying journalism in a digital age when reporting the truth matters more than ever.
