Brian Bengs for South Dakota

Can I be honest?

I am exhausted by the state of American politics. If you’re reading this, I imagine you might be, too.

The problem isn't just disagreement; it’s the extreme partisanship. That loyalty oath to a national party agenda is what marries politicians to the gridlock and keeps them from ever solving the problems that would serve their constituents back home.

The Founding Fathers foresaw the dangers of political partisanship and even explicitly warned against it. But that warning has long been forgotten.

Running as an Independent, I get to play a different game. I am free to have the moral and professional clarity to uphold the law and fight for my community, no matter what.

I get to call balls and strikes the way I see them. And I believe running a campaign this way is exactly what South Dakota needs. Will you join me in bringing some change to Washington by chipping in a donation of any size?

Being an Independent means I can say…

  • Nancy Pelosi’s and Marjorie Taylor Greene’s multi-million dollar stock trades that benefited from insider knowledge are wrong.
  • The level of corruption emanating from the current Administration, from cronyism to using the government to settle personal scores, is wrong and MUST come to an end.
  • Mike Rounds’ 32-year career of voting for tax giveaways for billionaires while gutting services for South Dakotans is a BETRAYAL of our state and his constituents.

I don’t owe Schumer or Thune a vote for Senate leadership, and I won't owe corporate PACs a single vote on the floor in exchange for their checks. My only job is to be the voice for the working families of South Dakota.

I am running because I want to fight for common-sense reforms to fix the system: banning Congressional stock trading, ensuring rich folks pay their fair share of taxes, and fighting for the little guy.

Your donation funds the most important currency in Washington: The freedom to be truly independent and hold everyone accountable. Will you chip in $20 right now to help fund my independence?
