This right here is what my campaign is about.
When I launched, I said I was running to challenge the status quo because it’s not working. And the latest shutdown deal proves it better than any stump speech ever could.
Democrats caved. Again.
We gave away what little leverage we had and got nothing in return, no progress on affordable healthcare, no real wins for working families, and no accountability for the people who keep letting Donald Trump dictate the agenda. We need to start fighting for something better than the status quo.
That’s not leadership. That’s the problem.
This campaign is about fighting back against exactly that kind of complacency, and building a new generation of leadership in the Senate that’s willing to take risks, tell the truth, and actually deliver for the people we represent.
I didn't come to Washington to make a career. I came here to make a difference. And frankly, I think we have ended up where we are today because too many in our party prioritize their careers over their service to you.
