Dear friend,
My name is Jim Stevens. I’m a small-business owner, former public school teacher, snowplow driver, and most importantly, Haley’s dad.
I’ve worked here in Michigan for over 50 years. Still do, even though I probably should’ve retired by now. But I don’t mind hard work – never have.
And that’s the spirit I see in my daughter Haley every single day.
Whether she was helping out with the family landscaping business or staying up late studying policy before she launched her first campaign, she’s never backed down from a challenge. Grit, grime, and some Michigan doggedness – that’s Haley. She’s a fighter.
I’ve always said that when the chips are down, Haley is exactly who you want to be standing shoulder to shoulder with. She’s faithful to the people she loves, doesn’t have any quit in her, and always stands up for what’s right.
Now she’s in the biggest fight of her life, running for Senate, and I couldn’t be more proud. She’s in this race because she loves Michigan. She believes in Michiganders. And I know she’ll never stop fighting for working families, public school kids, and folks like you and me.
But here’s the hard truth: She’s up against millions of dollars from Republican megadonors. I’m no political expert, but I’ll tell you one thing – Haley can’t win this fight alone. That’s why I’m asking, as her dad:
Will you chip in $5 to help Haley win this thing and keep Michigan blue?
Haley’s not in this for fame or to build her personal brand. That’s not who she is. She’s in it for Michigan. For regular folks. And I’m with her. Always have been.
Thanks for reading this – and for standing with my daughter.

Sincerely, Jim Stevens
