John -- Getting on the air this early is important because of how heavily National Republicans have invested in flipping my seat. Donald Trump held his first town hall of the 2020 campaign in Scranton, Donald Trump Jr. is raising big bucks for my opponent, and The Washington Post declared my seat a “must-win” for Republicans to retake the House.

But here’s the thing: getting on the air this early is also expensive. We had to move money around in our budget to get this ad live, and we might have to take it down before we want to. This ad has an important message that all voters need to hear. I have been fighting for affordable health care, lowering the cost of prescription drugs, providing workers more protections because of COVID-19, and bringing jobs back to the United States.
