John, Something important is happening here in Virginia. After voters overwhelmingly approved a nonpartisan redistricting commission in 2020, most of us thought that debate was settled. We agreed that voters — not politicians — should decide how our maps are drawn.
Now, just a few years later, some in Richmond are trying to take that power back.
They’ve voted along party lines to start a process that could let the General Assembly redraw Virginia’s congressional districts before 2030 — undoing the very reform Virginians demanded.
That’s not how Virginia does things.

Rob believes our Commonwealth should lead by example. While other states chase short-term advantage, Virginia should stand for fairness, transparency, and respect for the will of the people. We can’t let partisan politics erase what voters built.
If you agree that Virginia’s word should mean something, join us today — and help us defend the integrity of our elections.
