John, I’ve had the honor and privilege of serving as Pennsylvania’s 48th Governor for nearly three years now. And since I took that solemn oath on a frigid Tuesday in Harrisburg, everyone here at Team Shapiro has hit the ground running: We’ve slashed taxes, cut costs for families, invested in our schools, created jobs, and so much more.

Here’s another fact: Since Inauguration Day, we’ve received thousands of grassroots donations — each and every one playing a pivotal role in what we’ve accomplished together. Trust me: In those high-stakes moments, the knowledge that thousands of Pennsylvanians are behind our team is not lost on me.

With all that said, I’m sending you this email for a reason, John. I wanted to reach out and humbly ask: Will you make your first donation of the year to Team Shapiro and help us close out 2025 with the grassroots momentum we’ll need to keep Pennsylvania moving forward?

Everything I’m working for is done in the service of hard-working Pennsylvanians. The very same folks who keep our Commonwealth, and this grassroots movement, firing on all cylinders. I’m not beholden to a president or political leadership — and I never will be. I’m beholden only to the good people of Pennsylvania.

But John, I’ll be completely upfront: That approach comes with tradeoffs — namely, financial ones.

The far-right is more than happy to allow some of the most extreme individuals in the country to write their agenda in exchange for huge piles of cash. On the other hand, we’re building this movement the old-fashioned way: We’re spreading the word about everything we’re fighting for — and hoping enough folks believe in that mission to chip in.
