Incumbent, Who Promotes Herself As Hunter, Shows She's Out Of Touch With 2nd Congressional District Constituents
Albuquerque, July 15--The recent hiring of Rep. Xochitl Torres Small's new campaign manager is the latest sign that the incumbent is completely removed from the interests and needs of her constituents in New Mexico's 2nd Congressional District.
The new campaign manager is reportedly Emma Caccamo, who once helped run Democrat Michael Bloomberg's gun control group "Everytown for Gun Safety," a group that opposes gun rights.
What a contradiction!
Torres Small hires an anti-gun radical to lead her campaign, while the incumbent consistently showcases herself as a hunter, toting a rifle. One of Torres Small's past television campaign ads shows her carrying a gun and shooting game throughout the entire spot.
"Torres Small's political hire is hypocritical and an insult to our constituents. It demonstrates once again that she acts one way to garner votes, while her real motivation is something else," said Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce. "This is just a two-faced campaign. By hiring an anti-gun campaign manager, it's obvious she doesn't support the 2nd Amendment, all this while showing off publicly that she covets her guns and hunting."
