Last week's STARDUST: 1985 Battle for Prom Queen delivered exactly what we promised: Kaitlyn York, Mindi Trimble, Erin Gilmore, Georgeanne Elisabeth Yehling, and Prom Queen winner Carter Tholl bringing operatic fire over balloon sculptures, slow dances, and truly spectacular hair.

These aren't just voices. They're artists with serious national credentials and deep Kansas roots who came together to prove opera can be exactly this fun, this immediate, this alive.
