Friend, here’s the first thing you should know about this campaign: I’m running for governor to fight like hell for a state where all Coloradans can thrive.

"Fight like hell" could mean a lot of things, so let’s get more specific. As your attorney general, fighting like hell has meant…

… Listening to Coloradans when they raised real concerns about a planned grocery store merger. My office worked to block the Albertsons/Kroger mega-merger because it would have raised prices for consumers, shut down local supermarkets, created more food deserts, hurt Colorado farmers, and threatened workers’ jobs and pensions.

… Holding corporations accountable for overcharging and defrauding Coloradans. I’m proud that we’ve returned over $550 million to CO consumers. When irresponsible companies mistreat Coloradans, we get on the case.

… Standing up to the Trump administration whenever they try to bully the people of our state, attack our civil rights, or undermine the protections of our land, air, and water. Since January, we’ve sued the federal government 43 times (and counting). And time after time, we’ve won.
