Yes, you are my team. See, I played a lot of sports growing up, including lacrosse.
I learned more about leadership on the athletic field than anywhere else. Teams are special because they show up for each other in the cut. The “cut” is the 4th quarter, the last round, overtime. When everything is on the line. Your team shows up for each other, for you.
We’re lining up against the establishment. They’ve got corporate money. They’ve got connections. They’ve got AIPAC. But we’ve got the best thing of all: we’ve got you, we’ve got each other, our team.
You’ve already shown up for me once. You’ve joined our team. You didn’t have to. You chose to, because you believe in what we can do together.
