Trump signed the Epstein records bill Wednesday night, and the thirty-day
countdown has begun. This should be a breakthrough moment for
transparency, but we fear that the Trump regime and the DOJ will try to
stall, narrow, or bury what the public is entitled to see.

That is exactly why strong pressure on the Republican members of the House
Oversight Committee is essential right now. We cannot allow selective
disclosures that protect well connected individuals or hide critical
information. Anyone involved in Epstein’s crimes must be identified: No
political filtering. No protecting the powerful. If someone participated
in Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes, the public and the survivors of the abuse
deserve to know – no matter their party, position, or connections.

The Administration has every incentive to drag its feet. We have seen this
play out across countless oversight fights under Trump. They can stretch
out document searches for weeks, claim key materials are “still being
located,” or bury responsive records under vague classifications that take
months to challenge. They can demand sweeping redactions that strip out
essential information or release only the pieces that fit their preferred
narrative. And without strong pressure, they can slow the process so
significantly that the eventual release is incomplete, heavily redacted,
or strategically delayed in ways that obscure the truth.

All of this is possible if Republicans on the House Oversight Committee do
not remain vigilant. Firm and visible pressure is the only way to prevent
the truth from being chipped away behind closed doors and to ensure the
Department of Justice delivers a full, unfiltered release of the Epstein
records.

committee that they must demand full and prompt release of the Epstein
files.

We’re facing a 30-day countdown, and the stakes are crystal clear. If the
Republican majority does not hold firm, the Administration could stall,
