Folks,

The American people voted for Donald Trump to lower the cost of living and make our communities safer.

But 10 months into his second term? Seemingly every day we learn of new ways the Trump administration is using their power and access for their own personal benefit while their policies raise prices for hardworking Americans:

- We just learned that FBI Director Kash Patel took a $60 million government jet to visit his girlfriend.

- Trump family businesses have added billions to their wealth in just six months.

- And let’s not forget the fact that Trump has asked his Justice Department for $230 million for compensation for previous investigations, that he accepted a jet as a gift from Qatar, and that while running DOGE, Elon Musk used his access to the White House to promote his own businesses.

Unfortunately, the Republican Senate majority has been nothing but a rubber stamp for this unhinged administration.

We frankly cannot trust Senate Republicans to do the right thing when it comes to standing up to Donald Trump. We need to take back the Senate for Democrats so that we can finally put some guardrails on this president.

And we simply cannot lose Virginia if we want any chance of flipping the balance of power in Washington.
