We know it's nowhere close to the next Mother's Day or Father's Day, but this week's Good News roundup is chock full of parents standing up for LGBTQ+ rights. Oh, and did you hear that Maryland’s anti-book ban law was used for the first time in the state’s history? It protected a gay book. Also, did you hear about California’s Supreme Court upholding LGBTQ+ protections for elders in long-term care?
