FIRST: Donald Trump’s long record of unaffordability started catching up to him. Voters were tired of skyrocketing grocery prices and healthcare premiums. His poll numbers plummeted and Republicans panicked about their House Majority.

THEN: Donald Trump cooked up a plan to lock in his power no matter what the voters said. He urged red states like Texas to redraw their U.S. House maps to make it impossible for Democrats to retake the House of Representatives — giving him free reign for another two years.

NEXT: California thwarted this election-rigging plot by passing Proposition 50. But we spent down our budget organizing in 2025, and now we need to replenish our funds and start working to flip seats in the 2026 Midterms. Will you rush a donation now?
