TRUMP PLAN HELPS ECONOMY;

MCBATH PLAN HURTS ECONOMY

President’s visit highlights contrasts: Handel backs infrastructure investment;

McBath wants Green New Deal

Sixth District GOP nominee Karen Handel will attend President Trump’s Atlanta
transportation announcement today to show her support for job-creating reforms
that will expedite much-needed transportation and infrastructure projects.
 Handel’s participation underscores the sharp contrast with her opponent Lucy
McBath, who voted for Nancy Pelosi’s far-left transportation bill that is a
partisan wish list of Green New Deal initiatives and will require massive tax
increases.

“Under President Trump’s leadership, Republicans are putting forward reforms
to address our country’s significant infrastructure needs, boost our economy
during the COVID Recession, and remove burdensome regulations that hinder
progress,” said Handel.  “These are real solutions that will help Georgians.
 Lucy McBath once again sides with extremists, voting for a plan that is a
front for the Democrats’ toxic, socialist Green New Deal and a ruse to advance
massive tax increases at a time when Georgia families are hurting.

“Lucy McBath continues to be lockstep with the extremists in her party and is
increasingly out of step with the families of GA6.”

Trump’s plan will accelerate critical projects here in Georgia, such as the
expansion of I-75 to speed up truck traffic in a congested corridor.

“Georgia Republicans and President Trump came together to finally get the
money needed for Savannah’s harbor deepening – one of our state’s most
important economic assets,” Handel said, “and I was proud to help secure
critical funding for major improvements along the Georgia 400 corridor.”

“The choice is clear: my common-sense conservative leadership or Lucy McBath’s
blind embrace of her party’s far left agenda.  As a member of Congress, I’ll be
ready to get back to work with President Trump to cut through the red tape and
jumpstart projects to get people back to work, move people and products quickly
through our state and improve our quality of life by making sure we can get
home in time for dinner or a child’s baseball game.  Lucy McBath votes nearly
100% of the time with Nancy Pelosi and even AOC to fulfill the Democrat Party’s
socialist vision, which will slow investment, kills jobs, raises taxes, and
diminish the quality of life for all of us.”
