I don’t have to tell you what’s at stake in this election. You already know that Donald J. Trump is the most dangerous President of our lifetime.
The future direction of our nation rests on whether or not we choose to stand up, speak out and push back against bigotry, racism and narrow-mindedness. That means fighting to make sure every vote counts, and to elect Democratic candidates up and down the ballot in November.
I’m running to be the Democratic nominee for DeKalb’s Super 6 Commission seat in the August 11th runoff election. My district alone has more than 375,000 people in it. When the 2018 election for Governor was stolen from Stacey Abrams, they did it with a slim margin of 50,000 people.
Turning out DeKalb voters could have made the difference in that election, and this November it could mean the difference between winning the white house and taking back the Senate, or four more years of Donald Trump and inaction, gridlock and outright obstructionism from Mitch McConnell.
Trump is in Georgia today because he knows this state is in play, and losing here would be the end of his presidency. I am working hard every day to make sure Democrats have a winning ticket of candidates, that we are engaging new voters, and raising the resources we need to communicate our forward-thinking vision and win this fall.

Trump will probably be back as we get closer to November, but for today - join Team Ted in sending him a message. We will not back down or give up the fight. We will push back against bigotry, racism and white supremacy. We will make a difference at this moment in our history.
