No one has lost their Social Security, Medicare, or veterans’ benefits in spite of constant media and leftist lies. Trump & The Commie A communist went to the White House today. I was working in the Reagan administration when former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev came to the White House in 1987. To be honest, many of us were not happy. Just as President Reagan was, we were very dubious about the Soviet Union. Reagan had devoted his presidency to bringing “the evil empire” down. Of course, we were also welcoming a head of state for an official visit, and the flag of the Soviet Union was displayed on Pennsylvania Avenue. A lot has happened since then. The Soviet Union is gone, but today’s Marxists are not bred in Moscow. They are bred in the United States, on our university campuses, and make their home in the Democrat Party. This afternoon, President Trump met the mayor-elect of New York City, Zohran Mamdani. There is no doubt that Mamdani is a Marxist Islamist, yet he won 50% of the vote in a three-way race. Before the White House meeting, the House of Representatives voted on a resolution to denounce the horrors of socialism. It should have been unanimous, but the vote was 285 to 98. Every Republican present voted for the resolution, but 53% of House Democrats present voted against the resolution. Ponder the implications of that. By the way, when I said a communist was coming to the White House, I was quoting the delightful White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. I visit the White House often and I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall at today’s meeting, which was described as cordial. Speak with reporters after their meeting, President Trump stressed that he and Mamdani have disagreements, but he loves New York City and wants to see it thrive. Now, one of them believes you do that by punishing success and trying what has failed all over the world. The other believes in spurring economic growth, reducing regulations, and putting more police on the streets. Their meeting today may well be the “closest” they will ever be. Some analysts say that neither man’s base will be satisfied with today’s meeting. I can’t speak for Mamdani’s radical supporters, but President Trump has been willing to meet with anyone his entire political career, unlike the “dictator” Democrats and the media portray him to be. Out-Of-Control Corruption The news out of Minnesota lately has not been so “nice.” A 77th defendant was just indicted in Minneapolis for his role in a massive scheme to defraud American taxpayers of $250 million in COVID relief funds. The money was supposed to feed children in need during the pandemic. According to federal prosecutors, only 3% of the money actually went to feeding children. Many of the people involved in this scheme are members of the Minneapolis Somali community. Here’s another outrage. The state of Minnesota just shut down a program to help seniors and people with disabilities secure housing. Why would they do that given the current housing affordability crisis? Exploding costs were a big reason. When the program was established in 2020, it was expected to cost around $2.6 million. But the next year, the program spent 8 times more than that. The following year, it spent 16 times more. When the program was shut down last month, it was on track to spend more than $120 million this year. How do you go from spending $2.6 million to $120 million? Fraud. Six Somalis were just indicted for stealing money from the program. Federal prosecutor Joe Thompson said the “vast majority” of this program was pure fraud funneled through “fictitious companies solely created to defraud the system.” Thompson added: “What we see are schemes stacked upon schemes, draining resources meant for those in need. . . I have spent my career as a fraud prosecutor, and the depth of the fraud in Minnesota takes my breath away.” But that’s not all. A similar thing happened with the state’s program to assist children with special needs. Medicaid autism claims in Minnesota went from $3 million in 2018 to $400 million in 2023. During that time, the number of autism treatment centers and providers went from 41 to 328—many were newly established centers in the Somali community. When the fraud was finally discovered, the rate of “autism” among Somali children was more than three times the state average—all part of the fraud. What happened to all that money meant to help Americans in need? Much of it was sent to terrorists in Somalia who want to kill Americans. One off-the-record source said, “The largest funder of Al-Shabaab [terrorists] is the Minnesota taxpayer.” Media & Political Malfeasance Why is this story not major headlines? It is in conservative media sources, but Big Media won’t touch it because it doesn’t serve the cause of the radical globalists. The last thing they want you to know is that the corruption of Somalia actually followed the Somalians who came to Minnesota and now live in the part of Minneapolis known as “Little Mogadishu.” (Mogadishu is the capital of Somalia.) Three key people were either clueless or complicit in this corruption. Either they had no idea, which is impossible to believe given the extent of the fraud, or they just didn’t act because it didn’t serve their purposes. One is the man who almost became vice president of the United States—Governor Tim Walz. Another is Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress, who now serves as Minnesota’s attorney general. Ellison aggressively goes after conservatives, but not corrupt Somalis. The final individual is Rep. Ilhan Omar. Donald Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize, and Omar deserves a prize for being the world’s greatest ingrate. America rescued her from an African refugee camp. But all she does is trash America, accuse American troops and our allies of war crimes, and stoke radical Islamism. And she is a hero and a role model to young Muslim girls all over America. Taxpayer money was diverted from needy Americans by Islamists in America and sent to avowed terrorists who want to kill us! And the Democrat leadership of Minnesota and the leftist media don’t care. The only reason we know anything at all is because of investigative journalism by conservative media outlets and appointees of President Trump. Migration Matters The mass migration of Somalians to Minnesota began during Bill Clinton’s administration, when a civil war broke out in Somalia. The migration to the U.S. continued under several administrations. Minnesota should be a Republican state. It has a similar profile to much of the Midwest—states like Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Republicans have won all those states, but not Minnesota. It has many working-class people who were left behind by globalism. But to win Minnesota, you have to win the greater Minneapolis area, which now has a significant number of Muslim voters. Former Minnesota state senator David Gaither said: “If you’re a politician, it’s a significant disadvantage for you to alienate the Somali community. If you don’t win the Somali community, you can’t win Minneapolis. And if you don’t win Minneapolis, you can’t win the state. End of story.” So, mass immigration from a corrupt nation has put Minnesota firmly in the Democrat column. Moreover, the political influence of the Muslim vote prevented a Jew, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, from being on the 2024 Democrat presidential ticket. “Diversity” is not our strength—especially when immigrants from cultures that despise Western values refuse to assimilate. This “diversity” will be our destruction. By the way, 47 mosques have reportedly opened in Texas in the past two years. One analysis finds there are at least 330 mosques in the state today. A Real “Both Sides” Problem Since there is news that the Bush family is plotting a political comeback, here’s a little reminder. After 9/11, George W. Bush wanted to visit a mosque ASAP. Why? To reassure Muslims that we were not at war with Islam. At the time, I thought it was a bad joke. Muslims should have been rushing to the White House to reassure Bush that the “religion of peace” was not at war with us! But another way Bush tried to reassure Muslims was to import more of them from the Third World—a trend Barack Obama and Joe Biden were all too happy to continue. The Uniparty Comes Together Yesterday, the Uniparty that has frustrated so many of us for decades gathered in Washington, D.C., for Dick Cheney’s funeral. This photo explains what’s going on. Because he is a creation of Cheney, who wanted Fauci to outsource biological experiments to other countries because it was illegal to do them here. Fauci did his job—sending money to the Wuhan lab!! Why was Rachel Maddow there? She called Cheney every name in the book every night on MSDNC while he was vice president. What do they have in common? Only one thing I can think of: they both hate Trump and voted for Harris in the last election. Why is James Carville there? The “Ragin Cajun” made his living attacking the Bushes and the Cheneys. But they all come together to resist the populist president who wants to help the average American. Lock Them Up! Remember Antifa, the group that Donald Trump designated as a terrorist organization? Democrats claim the group doesn’t even exist. Well, five members of the non-existent group were just convicted on terrorism charges for their roles in the July 4th ambush of a Texas immigration detention facility. Other Headlines Secretary of State Marco Rubio has ordered nearly 300 State Department employees who were denied promotions during the Biden administration because of discriminatory “diversity, equity, and inclusion” policies to be compensated and promoted. A California school district dropped its appeal after losing a lawsuit over its radical gender ideology programs that forced elementary students to read books promoting transgenderism to kindergartners. Fathers in Maine are collecting signatures for a ballot initiative to protect girls’ sports from cheating boys. More men in other states should follow their example to defend their daughters. Last year, pregnancy resource centers provided over $452 million in medical care, education services, and material goods to women who made the choice of life. Disney dropped references to “diversity, equity, and inclusion” during a recent employee event and from its 2025 business report—a small but notable win.
