Loudermilk Has Co-signed Official Letter | Congressman Loudermilk has signed onto a letter to President Trump regarding the FDA’s promise to review the consumer safety of Mifepristone, a chemical abortion drug. This letter was sponsored by Representatives Chris Smith (R-NJ) and Diana Harshbarger (R-TN). - This letter would request that President Trump, in light of the growing body of evidence that the FDA-approved chemical abortion pill mifepristone carries significantly greater health risks than previously acknowledged, expedite the FDA’s commitment to review of mifepristone’s safety and, at a minimum, reinstate the in-person dispensing requirement which was previously removed by the Biden administration. - This is a companion letter to a similar one in the Senate that is directed towards HHS Sec. RFK Jr. and the FDA. - The House Values Action Team has highlighted recent polling data finding that 7 in 10 likely voters approve of requiring a doctor visit to receive a prescription for abortion drugs. - According to studies they’ve compiled, more than 1 in 10 women who use the chemical abortion pill mifepristone will experience a serious adverse event, a rate 22 times higher than is currently acknowledged by the FDA. - The letter also illustrates how Biden’s mail-order abortion scheme has enabled coercion and abuse against women. | FTA Approves Grant for Cobb County Autonomous Shuttle Network | “Completing the Cumberland Sweep will be a major success, providing safe and reliable transportation while reinvigorating American industry with shuttles made in the U.S.,” said U.S. Rep.
