TX-30 Updates

God Don’t Like Ugly: Trump’s Racist Redistricting Maps Fail

This week, we saw a victory for democracy. Three federal judges blocked Texas’ mid-decade redistricting, confirming what many of us have known: These maps were racially motivated and drawn to silence Black and brown voters.

The fight isn’t over. Of course, they have already appealed the decision and rushed the case to the Supreme Court, hoping to overturn this ruling. I will continue fighting for my constituents in TX-30 to ensure your voices are heard and protected, because every Texan deserves fair and just representation.

Here's what I had to say.

Updates from D.C.

The Epstein Files Must Be Released

This week, I voted in favor of the Epstein Files Transparency Act. That bill has since passed in the House and the Senate, and has been signed into law by the President. Now, Pam Bondi needs to do her job and release the full files. The survivors deserve justice, and the American people deserve to know the truth.

Americans are in danger as long as Donald Trump is in power. Since taking office, he’s ignored federal law, defied court orders, pardoned violent insurrectionists, given tax breaks to the wealthy, and made life harder for everyday people. Armed soldiers patrolling our streets is NOT normal. That’s the sign of a wannabe tyrant.

Protecting Pedophiles is not in the U.S. Constitution

Let’s get one thing straight: there is nothing American about defending pedophiles. But somehow, time and time again, we are watching folks twist themselves to avoid accountability. This administration loves to preach about law and order, but they have done everything in their power to avoid transparency and accountability.
