Right now, nearly one in three workers doesn’t have access to a retirement plan through their job, and nearly half don’t participate in one. That means millions of Americans have no cushion to fall back on when unexpected expenses hit – and no clear path to a stable retirement.
Our bill would help fix that by ensuring that every worker can build savings that move with them from job to job – whether they work for a big company or a small business. It’s a simple idea: if you work hard, you should be able to save and plan for a secure future.
