This week, both the House and the Senate passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act — the bill that demands the Justice Department release all of the Epstein files — and now, the President has signed it into law.
This is a massive victory for transparency, accountability, and most importantly, the survivors.
And there’s another win, here too: after facing mounting public pressure and a potential mass defection from members of his own party, Trump caved. He spent months trying to block the release of these records, but once it became clear he was going to lose this fight, Trump reversed course and told his party to vote for the bill.
Donald Trump is not immune to public pressure.
We saw this in the first Trump presidency, and it remains true today. When people speak up, organize, and refuse to look away, we can shift the political playing field.
In this case, courageous survivors spoke out and led the way. Congressional Democrats pushed the work forward. Our constituents called and showed up at our offices to demand the truth. And some of our Republican colleagues crossed the aisle on this issue because they understand how important it is. All of those pieces came together and made it impossible for Trump to deflect, stall, and hide from the truth any longer.
This is exactly the kind of organizing and engagement we need on every important issue. Here are three things you can do to help build momentum and push progress forward: -

This moment didn’t happen by accident. It happened because people paid attention and demanded justice for the thousands of women and girls who survived Jeffrey Epstein’s web of abuse.
