Dear Democrats,
Last weekend's State Central Committee (SCC) meeting in Socorro couldn't have been smoother. It was a great opportunity for Dems from all across NM to gather as we continue to build unity and our vision for the future. We heard from State Central Committee members, Committees and Caucuses about how they are addressing the top issues New Mexicans are facing and their vision for winning elections. As the volunteer governing body of DPNM, the roughly 500 member State Central Committee has an important role in making sure DPNM remains strong and maintains a presence in every community across the state.
The Democratic Party of New Mexico depends on the work and resources of our State Central Committee members, but they can’t do it alone. Unlike Republicans, DPNM isn’t dependent on dark money, corporate interests, or cryptocurrency phonies. This means we aren’t beholden to these interests. This also means that we rely on a few bucks at a time from the support of regular, everyday people. We are asking you to join the members of our party to help execute our vision for the state and win big in 2026. |
County party figures were also in attendance. Our county parties are on the front lines of representing our values in the communities. They are the boots on the ground that lead volunteer efforts and help us win elections. Our caucuses and committees were also there and provided their reports on their progress and work. All in all, it was a good day for New Mexico Democrats. We built unity, reinforced our mission, and reaffirmed our commitment to our values and candidates. Meanwhile, Republicans are leading America headfirst into an affordability and corruption crisis. It’s more important than ever that we’re all on the same team heading into next year, and we hope you’ll join us. |
