Dear Friend,
I have an urgent plea for you today.
Because in just a few short weeks, Chance Bretches will be dragged into court like a common criminal.
And if things don’t go well for him… he’ll be facing the unthinkable: 99 years behind bars, ripped away from his wife and four small children.
All for doing his job.
I’m reaching out because we refuse to abandon Chance. But we cannot save him without you.
Before I go any further, I need to ask you something directly:
Will you rush a donation right now — $25, $50, $100, or your very best gift — to help defend Officer Chance Bretches?
During the 2020 Austin riots, violent mobs attacked officers with rocks, bottles, fireworks — even Molotov cocktails — and Chance used non-lethal, department-approved tactics to stop the chaos.
Chance used department-approved techniques.
He followed his training.
He protected the public exactly as he was sworn to do.
But Austin’s extremist District Attorney, José Garza, didn’t care. He needed a scalp to hang on his wall… and Chance was an easy target for his anti-police agenda.
So now, Chance faces aggravated assault charges: charges that could destroy his life, his career, and his future.
Friend, this is why I’m writing:
Chance’s legal bills are exploding. The prosecutors are piling on. The clock is ticking toward trial.
And NCPD…and you… are the ONLY defense he has.
Please, before another minute passes…
Chip in whatever you can to help Chance fight back. Even $15 or $20 makes a real difference right now.
Chance is a good man. A husband. A father.
A cop who’s put his life on the line for his community more times than I can count.
He should be honored for that — not hunted down by a political DA.
But if good people like you don’t step up today, Chance will walk into that courtroom alone… and Garza will crush him.
I don’t want to see that happen. I know you don’t either.
So I’m asking again — as bluntly as I can:
Can Chance count on you today?
Will you stand with him before it’s too late?
Will you donate RIGHT NOW to give him the defense he deserves?
Every dollar you give is a lifeline. Every gift gets us one step closer to protecting Chance from a wrongful conviction.
Friend, this is the moment where heroes step in. Please don’t let Chance face this alone.
Stand with him. Fight for him.
Help bring him home to his family.
Sincerely,
Sheriff Joe Arpaio
