Dear John,
Wherever you live, I’m sure you’ve noticed an increase in plastic pollution in recent months. Plastic was already a global crisis before the pandemic and now plastic pollution is even more visible. Support our Plastic Free July
campaign!
I became a Plastic Pollution Coalition Youth Ambassador five years ago, when I was 8 years old, after watching the video of a plastic straw being pulled from a sea turtle’s nostril. Since then, I’ve been inspired by the wave of awareness, about the problem of plastic pollution, and
its connection to all our global challenges, including climate change and environmental justice. I’m now 13, and part of the generation already dealing with the ramifications of climate change and plastic pollution. We must ACT NOW.
I’m calling on you to join me in helping Plastic Pollution Coalition. Please contribute to our Plastic Free July Campaign goal of raising $10,000 toward our efforts to help the world to go reusable, not
disposable.
Your donation funds the work Plastic Pollution Coalition does every day to educate, connect, and advocate for a world free of plastic pollution.
I challenge you to take action today to stop plastic pollution. I’ve committed to bringing my own reusable stainless steel water bottle with me everywhere I go. What commitment are you going to make? Our small actions, and dollars, add up, and I know that together we can achieve a healthier
world for all.
In solidarity, Cole Hall Youth Ambassador Plastic Pollution Coalition |
