John – I am so humbled and excited to announce that it’s official: I’m the Democratic nominee to take on Republican Michael McCaul this fall.

I could not be more honored that the people of Texas’ 10th district have put their faith in me once again. We have built an unstoppable coalition and I know that together we’ll flip this district and win this race.

This district is one of the country’s top battlegrounds, and McCaul is sitting on over a million dollars to spend attacking me. So while we celebrate, we also have to look ahead to the general election this fall.

McCaul has a huge head start on fundraising, so it’s time to play catch up. We set a $25,000 General Election Goal – and we need to hit our goal in the next week to be as prepared as possible now that I’m the Democratic nominee.
