Hi Friend,

Do you like reading GGWash, or have you written for our blog? Come join us on Wednesday, December 3, for our annual GGWash Readers & Writers Happy Hour!

RSVP right here [[link removed]]

We’ll gather from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Metrobar, located at 640 Rhode Island Avenue NE, DC 20002, to hang out and celebrate the people who make the GGWash blog hum with fun and fascinating posts (if we do say so ourselves)--17 years running! Connect with everyone from Breakfast Links volunteers to writers and GGWash staff, talk over your favorite stories, and kick around a post idea or two.

And if you wrote a post we published in 2025, your first round is on us! Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options will be on offer.

Let’s bid a fond farewell to the stories of 2025 together. Metrobar is located just west of the Rhode Island Avenue Metro station and adjacent to the Metropolitan Branch Trail, with a Capital BikeShare dock nearby. GGWash enthusiastically encourages attendees to walk, bike, roll, or take transit!

Hope to see you there!

Best,
Melanie Pincus
Associate Editor
