This session, I’m introducing the One Strike, You’re Out Act in Georgia.
This is a targeted, family-first approach making life in prison eligible for a single violent felony conviction and death penalty eligible for raping a child under 12—modeled on proven laws in Florida, Louisiana, and Kentucky.
If you commit a violent felony even once in Georgia, you go to prison for life. You rape a child? Death penalty. No ifs, no ands, no buts.
One violent act should be enough to remove a predator from our streets—permanently.
