Friend, it’s Ed Markey. I hope you’ll hear me out.
With Trump in the White House and the GOP in charge in Congress, everything our progressive movement stands for is under attack.
He’s slashing budgets left and right, driving up the cost of everything from health care to energy bills, and unleashing authoritarian chaos in our cities.
I believe in doing everything we can, using every tool at our disposal, to fight back. That’s why I voted no on Trump’s cuts to the ACA every single time during the government shutdown. And that’s why I’m running for reelection to continue to lead the opposition to the far-right.
But this race is a big test for our movement. We are up against a well-funded and established challenger who will make this a long, expensive fight.
So, I’m asking you, humbly, if you would consider chipping in any amount to power my campaign for reelection.
I need your help if we are going to win this race, take on Donald Trump’s authoritarian agenda, and fight for a more affordable, just, and prosperous future for all Americans.
