Her challenger once compared marriage equality to slavery , advocates against the ERA, and once called same-sex adoption "absurd" and "irrational." And in Louisiana, we must elect Evan Bergeron as the first-ever openly LGBTQ Louisiana state legislator. Evan could be a key voice for pro-equality legislation and help rollback Louisiana's history of bigotry.
