Today, we are proud to officially announce our endorsement of Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib — a leader who doesn’t just speak about justice, but lives it, legislates it, and organizes it hand-in-hand with the people.

Rashida has spent her career elevating the voices of those too often pushed to the margins — championing affordable housing, immigrant reform, healthcare for all, and so much more. One of her most courageous moves was her recent introduction of House Resolution 876, which calls to explicitly recognize the genocide being committed against Palestinians in Gaza. It also calls on the U.S. to honor its obligations to prevent, condemn, and punish genocide. That’s not just policy — that’s moral leadership rooted in human rights.

Rashida shows us what public service looks like when it’s not transactional, but transformational.

She legislates with moral clarity. She stands unapologetically for human rights; at home and across the world. And she never forgets where she comes from or who she’s fighting for.

That’s why Politivist Action exists: to lift up leaders like Rashida, protect bold progressive seats, and build the infrastructure necessary to find and train the next generation of transformative leaders to fuel people-powered change.
