I know your inbox is overflowing. The news is exhausting. And if getting one more political email feels like too much some days, I truly understand.

But I want to be honest with you about why these messages matter.

Politico is now reporting that Anthony D’Esposito is keeping the door open to running again. After losing by only 2 points in 2024, he has continued to go after me and is considering another run.

And that’s not all. National Republicans have the fundraising edge right now and they are preparing to use it to overwhelm the most competitive districts in the country. As New York's most vulnerable Democrat, this district is at the very top of their list.

Taking back the House will not fix everything but it will give Democrats the power to strike back, expose corruption and put a check on the chaos. If we don’t take back the House, Trump and his allies will continue to govern without accountability.

If we lose this district, the path to taking back the House becomes almost impossible.

That is why these emails matter. Because without grassroots supporters stepping up when they can, we simply cannot keep pace with the Republican war chest that is already targeting this campaign.
