Before we start the weekend, I wanted to share why your support today matters so much.

I’m Sarah Trone Garriott — a mom, a Lutheran minister, and a State Senator. I’ve spent my life showing up for people, whether that’s walking into the toughest moments of someone’s life as a hospital chaplain or working to protect public schools and lower costs for families in the legislature.

Right now, there’s not a single Democrat in Congress from Iowa. That means when issues like health care, education, or food assistance come up for a vote, Iowa’s families don’t have anyone at the table fighting for them. I’m running to change that.

Our digital fundraising goal for November is important because it helps us lay the groundwork to reach voters in small towns, at meet-and-greets, and on doorsteps across IA-03. If I can reach my weekly fundraising target, I can spend more time talking to voters directly – instead of making calls or sending emails like this one asking for donations. 😉
