** Meet Sonja Nichols: Entrepreneur, Author, Leader

Our speaker will be Ms. Sonja Nichols. Sonja Nichols is an entrepreneur, accomplished business woman, published author, trusted advisor, and an active civic and community leader. A longtime supporter of the military and its service members, Ms. Nichols saw the decreasing size of America’s Armed Forces as a business opportunity. Understanding the extensive training, discipline, and professionalism possessed by U.S. military service members, she founded Nicholant, a Private Protective Services Company, and staffed it entirely with top quality military veterans.

Prior to starting Nicholant Enterprises, she served as a Systems Engineer with IBM and as a marketing representative for PepsiCo. Ms. Nichols is a graduate of Florida A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and an MBA in Marketing and Computer Information Systems.

Relishing her role as a wonderful wife and mom, Sonja is very happily married to the fabulous Richard Nichols Jr. (30+ years) and they have three wonderful children - Richard III, James, and Kayla Marie.
