Last week, Jobs with Justice relaunched our Worker Solidarity Fund to provide urgent support for working families in need. While some federal workers are returning to work after the longest government shutdown in American history (and the third under Trump), others are still on administrative leave or permanently laid off. Cities around the country are under federal occupation, and our neighbors are being terrorized by ICE agents. The government may be back open, but the cruelty continues. 

The Worker Solidarity Fund is already making an impact—but thousands of workers still need support in this time of intersecting crises. In the lead up to Giving Tuesday, we’re asking folks like you to help us raise $25,000 for mutual aid for workers. Can you join us? 

Your donation supports workers who are being left behind:

• Federal workers whose livelihoods remain under threat, even after the shutdown has ended.

• Families struggling to keep food on the table as safety nets like SNAP are used as bargaining chips, while low-wage employers rake in tax breaks and record profits.

• Workers bracing for skyrocketing healthcare costs that could devastate their budgets.

This is solidarity in action. At Jobs with Justice, we believe we can provide necessary, immediate relief and build lasting power for working people. We proved it in 2020, when we launched our fund to support workers impacted by the COVID crisis. Together, we raised and distributed over $2 million in direct aid.
